mourning
occasionally studio stems creates a mourning piece for a funeral. it doesnt happen much, mostly because we dont advertise that we offer this service or market the funeral industry, none the less we find this work just as rewarding as any other. heart and emotions run deep at studio stems and we know what it means to mourn with those that mourn and also to have others mourn with us. the heart wreath was something i created for a friend who passed away at only 23 years old from cancer, she was an inspiration of strength and courage to me, 2004. the two table arrangements where for others i knew by association that passed on and the last fall spray was for my husbands best friend who passed away of cancer at the age of 27 in 2004.

Audrey designed a beautiful non-traditional piece for my great aunts funeral. It stood out from the super depressing carnation and fake ribbon arrangements. I even heard the immediate family pretend fighting over who was going to get to take the Studio Stems arrangement home.
